)

Guidelines

For this assignment you will create an animation using collaged and scanned pieces from the real world, several mediums, and the 3d environment. The story line or theme is completely up to you. But, you need to create and capture the large majority of the material you use.

Requirements:

The animation should be between 1:15 minutes and 2 minutes long. It must include audio, and should utilize the 3-D environment in AE. It's fine if it goes a little over the time limit.

The animation should include a minimum of 3 different mediums( 2d digital design, 3d digital design, video, drawing, photography, scanned material, your own audio work, etc.)

Make a minimum of two preliminary storyboards (detailing two different ways to visually approach the idea) in your sketchbooks (or digitally ). Select the most effective solution and complete 1-2 story boards.

Your animation must include ALL of the following:

1. Create a new composition in AfterEffects that is 320x240 pixels in size and no longer than a minute and a half in length @ 15 fps.
